love it, i just text and dont spend time on facebook which have saved me tons of times. now I get my homewrok done much easier.

I had been using Messenger for Facebook but was annoyed at the pop-up every time you open the application and didn’t feel like it was worth $5. This app is identical in every way so far, but is less obtrusive for the same service. Thanks, developer(s)

Nice if you need to communicate with people who do not use iMessage. Works as expected

Works very well, but I find that if the computer goes to sleep the application will remain open and seem to be working but will actually be disconnected from the Facebook Messenging service and I have to restart the application for it to work again. Not a big deal, but just thought I’d mention it. Otherwise it’s much easier and nicer to use this for messanging on a real computer with a real keyboard if you’re at your desk.

Now, Its not support this OS... How long will update it ?

this is good for my mac, it gets the job done! i wish it was a little more like messanger though, where they is a little icon & my emojis are more clearly defined. but other than that of my wants, my needs are satisfied.

I appreciate how closely it resembles the Facebook Messenger app from Facebook that is on my phone.

Does this work with OS X Beta v2?? mine is not opening to let me sign in.

Works great, fast and very responsive. Just like the mobile app Facebook makes but without all the junk and space taken up. Good Job guys

the app works great, however, it doesn’t have call and video call. it also sometimes doesn’t update automatically, i had to click reload from server.

I’m giving this app 5 stars because it typically works very well. The updates they’ve been putting out help a lot. My only concern is that it will sometimes glitch out when I try to do “special tasks” like muting conversations or sending/opening videos. Otherwise, it works very well.

The update seemed to break some of the functionality. Messages do not come through until you refresh the program. Especially after computer sleeps. Needs improvement but still better than other options out there.

I am actually pleasantly surprised at how good this app is. You don’t need to have FB open (which I find distracting) and it has all the capabilities of FB messenger (stickers, emojis, gifs, etc). Sometimes when I restart my MacBook or iMac, it asks me to re-log on, but, whatever, not a biggie. I’m giving it 5 stars because it’s free and it’s a great-quality app so far.

This is a very good messenger app, the first one I have tried on the Macbook. It is very accessible with Voiceover. The only thing I can think of that would make it a perfect app would be if the developer will fix it so that Voiceover reads the incoming messages automatically. Even without this it’s a perfectly useable way to handle your FB messages on your Mac.

Excellent program, appears not to have video chat though? That’s a bit of a fail I must say, other than that though it’s a great product. Cheers.

FreeChat for FB Messenger works well, and smoothly.

I use messenger on my iPhone and it works well there too.
